I had A Dream
I had a dream about a world that was gone.
One that was full of nothing.
This world was bare with twigs and leaves.
Everything crushed beneath my feet.

I had a dream about a world so dry,
That even the river were dust and the clouds were gray.
The rocks were discolored,
The sun was black.
I had a dream of a person.

This person was a hero of the world.
Bringing everything we needed,
But where were the toys?
I had a dream where no one wanted things.
Everyone wanted food, water, shelter, and clothing.

No one wanted computers, nail polish, books.
Everyone wanted each other.
I had a dream where this world had died.
The burning of the greed destroyed it all.
The fires were not red, yellow, and orange.

They were black, gray, and shadowy
I had a dream where people screamed.
They screamed for mercy beyond belief.
They cried out to those who were still standing,
Standing on their own two feet.

I had a dream of a world that was empty.
No one was there but me.
My hero had died, even he who had been great had failed.
Which shows to me no one is perfect.
I had a dream where even I had died.

I as there under the ground,
Staring at my grave.
All I saw was bones, flesh, and blood.
I had a dream where man feasted on those of the dead.
Taking out the all the bad,

Leaving the good.
It shows that was we live for.
I had a dream were we all died.
Nothing was left for us to feast on but good.
All of us just disappeared.

Never to be seen again.
